This is a comprehensive guide to the hotels and areas in Boracay to help you decide where to stay. Most travellers choose to stay on White Beach because it is the main area where all the action is, from restaurants and bars to shops and beach activities, so this is where you want to spend most of your time.
What are stations? White Beach is divided into three stations, each with a distinct vibe you can choose from: Station 1 is peaceful and quiet, Station 2 is the lively central hub, and Station 3 has a more laid-back vibe. It’s also easy to walk between these stations, so don’t worry, and when you’re ready for an adventure, you can explore other stunning beaches around the island.

Station 1 – Peaceful and Luxurious
Station 1 is the most beautiful station. It is located towards the northern end, and the further up you stay, the quieter it gets. The water here is beautiful and serene, perfect for swimming and relaxing. This is also where you will find Boracay’s iconic landmark, Willy’s Rock, and sailboats for an activity unique to Boracay: Paraw Sailing. These spots tend to be a bit busier since they are closer to Station 2, while the northern part of Station 1 remains peaceful and quiet. The further north you stay, the fewer restaurants and bars you’ll find compared to other stations, and it’s more peaceful, offering an upscale, luxurious experience.

The beach is also narrower than in Stations 1 and 2, but still swimmable, peaceful, and great for enjoying the sun without the crowds. Other Locations
If you’re looking for a more secluded stay and don’t plan to spend most of your time in the busier parts of the island, there are some great options outside Stations 1–3.
1. Station 0
Station 0 is an unofficial name for the area, since it’s still on the same side of the island as the other stations but sits further up north. It has the most expensive and exclusive resorts on the island, which is perfect for a relaxing, luxurious getaway or a special occasion like a honeymoon.
Hotels:
2. Newcoast
Newcoast is a newer area that also offers upscale accommodations, perfect for a calm and rejuvenating stay away from the bustling city. Unlike Stations 1–3, which are along White Beach, Newcoast is on the other side of the island.
Hotels:
3. Bulabog
Bulabog is on the same side of the island as Newcoast but closer to the main city area. It’s within walking distance of D’Mall, making it convenient for dining, shopping, and nightlife. The beach isn’t as ideal for swimming as White Beach because of its shallower waters and occasional seaweed, but you can still walk over to White Beach to swim. Bulabog is known for kite surfing, windsurfing, and other water sports, making it a hotspot for adventure enthusiasts. Hotels in the area are generally good value for money.
